Our Halo Pharmacists™ are the dedicated experts assigned to each patient, available 24/7 to answer questions, solve issues, and proactively manage every aspect of your medications. We’re not sitting behind a counter serving thousands of random customers. Instead, we integrate with your health care journey, functioning as an extension of your doctor’s office and your benefits team.
With decades of experience across clinical, hospital and community settings, we know every trick in the book to get medications delivered efficiently and affordably. Phil Baker, PharmD
Founder and Pharmacist
A Christian, a husband, and a father of seven, Phil considers his career a vocation. After working in a community pharmacy, Phil became deeply troubled by the fact that millions of Americans cannot afford their prescriptions, while literal tons of those same prescriptions get thrown away every year. So he’s working to change that in pursuit of a patients-first pharmacy future. Phil believes pharmacists should be compensated based on the value they create, not the cost of the prescriptions they administer; that every patient deserves access to necessary prescription medication; that we can reduce prescription waste; and that together we can create opportunities to fundamentally redefine the pharmacy industry. Michell Zulu, PharmD
Chief Operating Officer and Pharmacist
As the chief operating officer at HaloScrips, Michell applies her skills and knowledge as a pharmacist to provide personalized care to every patient in pursuit of the best possible health outcomes. In her role, Michell leads the day-to- day management of pharmacy operations, counsels patients, and handles population health programs for HaloScrips and its sister organizations. Chief Technology Officer and Pharmacist
Stephen Hall followed his passion for science and problem-solving when he pursued a career in pharmacy. Stephen brings both a variety of pharmacy experience and a passion for the organization’s mission to HaloScrips, where he is committed to challenging traditional health care standards. Now serving as a key bridge between clinical care and innovation, Stephen spends his days developing smarter technological workflows while remaining hands-on with medication fulfillment and serving HaloScrips patients. Ann Aukerman, CPhT
Inventory Director and Pharmacy Technician
For Ann Aukerman, pharmacy started as a job, but it became a calling. Ann first pursued pharmacy technician training nearly 30 years ago, citing the ability to change jobs easily when her husband’s military career required a move. When her husband was diagnosed with leukemia, her motivation became personal. Medication affordability is a life-altering concern for many people. Now, Ann helps patients overcome that worry. Day-to-day, you’ll find her managing pharmacy inventory; supporting the pharmacy’s licensing; assisting patients directly, and more.
